I was thinking about this , shared this topic with some friends as well… and after that I thought may be its time to put it across in a blog.

First the precursor to the thought -

20-30 years back people (our parents) read India is a great country

The complete Indian Scene was different both culture wise and demographically

I read it in school – India is a great country ..the culture had changed the demography had changed the development had changed

Kids currently in school are still reading the same line saying the same pledge…and the societal scene has again completely changed

10 years down the line there will be some one reading the same line and saying it again – that will be a whole new position where we will stand at that point of time

What I cannot understand is how come when almost everything is changing all this time in terms of our culture, our values, our way to move forward and even the government policies how come ” India is a great country.”

As far as I can see right now where I can see things moving – is towards the same way as the American economy is.

Earn lots of money and find ways to spend it and yes we are becoming a part of the great cycle of producers and consumers. Development is taking place but things are becoming expensive and expensive..

The way we look at our relations our beliefs and our tradition is also seeing a dramatic change.

So when even our basics have shifted and we are moving more towards an absolutely different style of doing things – this one notion has stood strong amongst all these changes. Which drives me to say that – Probably greatness is a concept and not reality (maybe more of a way to keep people happy) or rather greatness is transient. It has survived all these changes.

Our earlier systems were great and our new systems are great although there is hardly any connection between them – which I find hard to swallow. A great system is one which evolves.. One which adapts and one which survives….Not one which is completely replaced and still the notions surrounding it survives. But one thing is for sure something was wrong earlier or something is wrong now which we are not being able to see…. And this way we leave ourselves open to intrusion…

Hopefully, I wish the notion becomes a reality …..

Lately things have become quite eventful around me..After all it’s change I am running after. Hadn’t thought of blogging this but people have left me over burdened with their kindness. Lost like a solitary kid in the marketplace I hardly met some people whom may be I should have met a lot more when the time was right.
But it was not to be cause for me work equals responsibility. But then no excuses, I love being the way I am and cannot talk to you all the time … for it doesn’t make sense to me.

However the calls I received in the past two days have left me really touched.I can still feel an echo. How can some one be so fond of some one who hardly talks to them ? And no I am not talking about people who are generous. Not sure why did they call me but they have left me speechless (it happens rarely with me unless by my own choice). So much concern for someone so close yet so far. Is it maturity ? Then probably growing up is fun if I can have 5 people like these by my side I will probably pass whatever may come through.

At one point of time I really felt my eyes going wet no not because of the feeling of guilt that Why didn’t I interact more with them but just because they have left a unerasable impression on me. Can’t dig further to find the real motivation behind the call , given that I cant of think of any good quality of mine, which made them call me. but they have given me so much that i may not be able to return. Can’t remember feeling this way in years…(after all ordinary people don’t get into such situations).

Signing it off with a big thanks (really have run out of word)to all those for being concerned, will definitely come back to you with hopefully something which we all can be proud you off…. luv you all..And will try and be in touch as much as I can…
